How to measure your activity on social media

With so many people, sales people, marketers, CEOs, CPOs all using social

I wonder as these posts scroll by what return people are getting?

Often, I ask the question “how much revenue are you generating from social”

I can only think of one time where I didn’t get blank faces

We’ve all been in a meeting where people have told us

“We need to get social” or “don’t forget to post on social”

But what does that actually mean?

As a CEO I know that if anybody spends a $ on marketing I want to see a return

If you post on social, it has to make a bottom-line impact, of course

How do you measure this?

Create a campaign code and track it

If anybody is posting on social, a person or brand

We need a published code we can book leads to

As a business we can then track

Is social making an impact to our business or not?

If it’s not, it’s not that it doesn’t work, it’s because you don’t have a strategy

Would be my guess …

Can you drive revenue from social media?

Social selling is not about spamming people or inmails or connect and pitch

Our definition of social selling is

"Using your presence and behavior on social media to build influence, make connections, grow relationships and trust, which leads to conversation and commercial interaction"

And the results?

For an AE, we can shorten sales cycles by 30%

And the average SDR will get 1 x ICP meeting a day

Which should increase your revenue by 20%

You can get these results by using our social selling methodology, that is certified by Institute of Sales Professionals (ISP)
