Picking up on something new isn't always a good idea
Linkedin has just announced that the banner at the top of your profile can now have movement
They are called rotating banners, hurrah!
Just so you know they give me motion sickness and make me feel sick
As soon as I come across one of these rotating banners I cannot look at them
And will immediately go and look at something else
Somebody else's profile for example
If you add one of these rotating banners to your profile
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot
I remember back in corporate, we tried to come up with a tool other than powerpoint
This was to make us look cool and stand out against our competition
We found this one tool, that everybody thought was cool alternative
Until I, sorry, I was the party pooper, when I pointed out it made me travel sick
Then we found it it made some 25% of the audience travel sick
I wonder if it's the same with rotating banners on LinkedIn
Driving away 25% of your target audience doesn't seem smart to me
Can you drive revenue from social media?
Social selling is not about spamming people or inmails or connect and pitch
Our definition of social selling is

Which should increase your revenue by 20%
You can get these results by using our social selling methodology, that is certified by Institute of Sales Professionals (ISP)
