There I've said it, what we see is that people just are not getting the value they would expect. We have so many clients that said, yes we purchased sales navigator but nothing happened. LinkedIn do this great sales pitch, we give it to the sales people and ....silence.
First and foremost to use Sales Navigator you have to be social. Otherwise you are probably the words best spammer. This is the big mistake people make. All of the figures that Linkedin sell to you are true, but ONLY if you are social first. We had a company say to us "we sent out 250 inmails and nothing happened". Of course not they looked like spammers.
