We found this really interesting piece from the guys at EY & Unilever (link below), it provides great insights into the human drivers that are already happening in today's businesses, and will be affecting the workplace in the future.

In a previous blog (see here) I've already highlighted how 'Generation Z' and those pesky 'Millenials' are already shaping all our futures.

We talk about 'Digital Transformation' quite a lot, and for many  its still perceived as a technical challenge, when in fact any focused transformation project is delivered by humans, yes, you and me are the real drivers of any change.

Technology is clearly and an enabler change, but like the term 'Data is the new Oil' without some real life person harnessing that data with insights and related actions then its just 'data' floating around in the ether, or on your database.

Wind has been around us from the day the earth was created, its still there today and there's plenty of it, so why has it taken so long for us to 'harness' it and convert in into renewable energy?

The common theme we take from this, is that even with the threat of AI turning the world into sub-human robots, we are still a very much needed resource, its simply that like previous generations our skills and purpose need to adapt to the ever changing opportunities we are faced with.

If we don't adapt, learn and 'harness' change then its highly likely that our business will lose out to the competitors (and those yet unknown) and cease to exist.

We are living in an increasingly fragmented world with a crisis of slowing growth in many developed economies. Meanwhile, many brands and employers are attempting to become more meaningful: those with clear purpose are prospering, while many corporate “dinosaurs” that refuse (or are unable) to adapt are dying off as the rate of change increases.

At DLA Ignite we specialise in helping companies and the internal 'Change Makers' deliver on both these points, and I'm pretty sure we can help you as well.

We have a tried and tested methodology, we hold you and your colleagues hand throughout, ensuring we not only 'teach' you what to do, we also make sure its firmly embedded into your firms DNA.

We don't do retainers, we are not an agency that creates and produces copy/content or sells ads for you.

We are active 'practitioners' of what we do, we already know and can evidence the ROI of a robust and internally aligned 'Social' strategy.

Part of that evidence it that you are reading this blog, just like many others - including your competitor!

We also don't do outbound pushy, salesy marketing, so if you would like to explore more, please contact the author of this blog.
