And so it begins ..... We all know where this is going? ... Microsoft purchased LinkedIn and of course you will see LinkedIn integration with Microsoft products.  The easiest place to start is office, so now from within Outlook, people can look you up.  Regardless of which department you work, sales, service, HR, support , we can all see your CV style LinkedIn profile.  So we can make sure you don't get that promotion as you are obviously not committed to the company.

If you are in sales and you send me a cold outreach email and you have a spammy profile. I now know just to delete your email as you are a spammer .

Finally, this is where social selling goes mainstream.  You may not "do" social selling which is fine, but I can jump to my own conclusion about who you are, your product and your service from your cold outreach email.
