They are calling it the everyone economy.

"45% of UK employees have had to change something about themselves to get on in the workplace."

The world of business has changed so much, certainly there is more change and the change seems to get faster and faster.

The internet, social media, mobile and Covid 19 has provided a perfect storm of change

People, buyers, job seekers, investors have shifted online.  We are used to working from home, we are used to buying online, we see cold calling, email marketing and advertising as voices from the past.  People and companies that have not been able to keep up and people and companies that are fading away into insignificance.

Why? because we know that we are all empowered now, we have access to mobile, we have access to an infinite amount of data and information.

In the area I work in, sales and marketing have changed completely, of course there are still the "flat earth" people who still try and convince us that life hasn't changed.  I saw somebody post on Linkedin just the other day that sales was still sales.  Which just shows how far some people are.

I do wish them well as I think they might never catch up.  The same, with so many businesses today.
