I recently interviewed Dr. James Chitwood on my podcast, #TimTalk, you can watch the interview here.

James and I discussed why “Leadership is not enough”

During our conversation we discussed the fact that a poor company's reputation in the workforce requires additional pay

James cited the following article, “Harvard Business Review, A Bad Reputation Costs a Company at Least 10% More Per Hire (2016)”

This HBR article states that a poor reputation is costing a company an additional 10% when hiring

This got me thinking

How about if a company could project itself externally as a nice company it could save $millions?

In a 2021 study by careerArc they said that 96% of job seekers look companies up on social media

The job seekers look up the employees as well as the leadership team

They ask questions such as “will I fit in?”, “what is the culture like?”

Are you as a business projecting the right culture, to your future employees?

Are you giving off the right “vibes” for these future employees on social media?

If you could save 10% of the salary of all new starters, that could make a massive impact to your bottom line!

Can you drive revenue from social media?

Social selling is not about spamming people or inmails or connect and pitch

Our definition of social selling is

"Using your presence and behavior on social media to build influence, make connections, grow relationships and trust, which leads to conversation and commercial interaction"

And the results?

For an AE, we can shorten sales cycles by 30%

And the average SDR will get 1 x ICP meeting a day

Which should increase your revenue by 20%

You can get these results by using our social selling methodology, that is certified by Institute of Sales Professionals (ISP)
