As if somehow, giving the team space and time to spend with their families was a bad thing

There is nothing worse than people pretending to work over the holiday season

Writing timed emails before the break up for the holiday season

So it looks like people are working, yes I've done that

Or turning up at weekly calls, where nothing gets done and everybody leaves and thinks

“That was a waste of time”

Employee engagement comes when people are treated like you would want to be treated

Give people time to spend with their friends and their families

Give people the time to stop thinking about work, calls, stand ups

Switch the MacBook, phone off

Go outside and get some fresh air

Talk to people

Live isn’t about work, life is to be lived, live it
