Interesting report, but no surprises, "same same" as my friends in the Far East say. The usual percentage of CEOs say they get it, CDOs being thrown at the problem and I'm sure there are some great people.
The thing that really concerns me are the "usual names" coming up and then ... when you check them out on social, they are no followers and clearly don't get Digital. The head of Employee Advocacy for one of these companies, has 200 hundred followers on twitter and they are all internal. If these people are not leaders, it raises concerns about the leadership they are showing to other companies.
I guess in the land of the blind ......
“It is for everyone now. Gone are the days when digital was a nice addition to the business; for most organisations, it is their business,” the researchers say. in the report. It’s also a constant for boards, according to the report, with several now regarding it as a permanent part of the board’s agenda.
