In 2014, I had the privilege of visiting Myanmar (Burma) and meeting its incredible people—warm, resilient, and generous beyond words

The beauty of the country was only surpassed by the kindness of its people

On March 28, 2025, a devastating Mw 7.7 earthquake struck the Sagaing Region, near Mandalay

 Seeing the widespread destruction and the suffering faced by those same wonderful people is deeply saddening

My thoughts are with everyone affected, and I stand in solidarity with Myanmar during this tragic time
