GDPR is nearly on us and regardless of if you are in Europe or sell to companies in Europe you need to comply.  The thing is I'm kind of surprised with the reaction.  I think everybody is doing something, but most people seem to think this is a marketing thing.

I was talking to a friend of mine, works for a big corporation, that rolls out training for everybody, Health and Safety, Diversity, the lot.  I'm not saying this is a bad thing, in fact the opposite, it's important that all employees understand such subjects.  Which is why I had expected GDPR to be part of this.

Anyway they didn't think that GDPR required this.  Big mistake.  All you need is a maverick sales person with a spreadsheet of names and you can end up with a hefty fine.

Where as a Google reseller that we have as a customer, it rolling out training to all their 120 employees.
