Trying to conceal my incredulity, I said “Imagine that every existing and prospective customer went to that gym over there. Every morning at 6am, everyone with whom you’d like to connect will be there. If I asked my salesperson to take out a gym membership and be there every morning and his answer was “no” because his home gym is working just fine thank you, I’d fire him!
