He passed away in November 2022, but his presence is still very much felt in my life

I remember him for so many things:

His deep sense of fairness – he always looked out for and helped people more disadvantaged than himself

His generosity as a mentor – he found joy in helping others become better people

His instinct to be a lifelong learner – he was a voracious reader, curious about everything and everyone - He always won the board game Trivial Pursuits 

These values shaped me more than I can put into words

Every time I try to be fair, offer help without expectation, or pick up a new book, I’m reminded of him

So today, I celebrate his life, his lessons, and the quiet legacy he left behind, not in wealth (I did get is vinyl records and 78s) or titles, but in the countless lives he touched
